| HOT
SAUCE!! We are now distributing the hot sauces from WOOWEE
hot sauce. We've got Big Hog, and excellent flavored hot sauce,
about a 5-6 heat rating (I love this stuff) and The Undertaker,
about a 12 heat rating (this stuff scares me; nose running, eyes
watering HOT!). We've also got their wing sauces; Lips Disappear,
Mind Goes, and Wild Side of Mild. Give them a try you love 'em too!
Visit http://www.woowee.com for
more information. |
Ray writes a blog post OMG! |
|
Here's a blog article about starting Deja Brew. I met Peter Caputa, who owns pc4media.net, at a Chamber of Commerce event, and he invited people to guest write an article for his blog. Peter's company is helping people generate sales leads from online marketing and business networking.
Being the natural sucker that I am ;^) I took him up on it. I wrote two articles and he published them both. This is perhaps more the way I'd talk to you. You know I can't do anything without telling a story.
But, I thought you might enjoy reading it, and if you'd like to post a response feel free to do so.. (be kind!) ;^).. And feel free to share this with friends.
I do feel bad that I did not give props in the article to Jay and Eric who have done all my web site work for years. But, on that note, Eric's been working on a new web site for us, and once I buckle down and get the content written, we'll launch it.
Here's the blog link, enjoy!

We've got some things going on! |
|
A new website is on the horizon. The design is done, nicely done, by Eric Zeh of Cygnet Interactive. Check them out! Very cool stuff!
So, I 've been taking some pictures to publish on the new web site. And I'm still writing content. We're getting there...
The majority response so far has been for a slightly irreverent web site, so we'll have some fun. There's still time to make your opinion known! Should the web site be; all business, slightly irreverent, or very irreverent? Drop me a line and let me know your thoughts; ray@deja-brew.com.

Your Testimonials
We have sold hundreds and hundreds of
these great devices. And those that use them, tell us they love
them. So now, I'm looking for testimonials to put on our web
site.
Send in your testimonial, we'll put your
name in for a drawing to be held each month. The winner will receive
a free set of "PourNCork" wine stoppers to use with their Perfect
Sommelier! The wine stoppers are attractive, eliminate wine spills,
and can be used with the Perfect Sommelier. So come on! You're
willing to tell me how much you like it, just put it in writing, and
you could win a set of
"PourNCorks"!! |
Monthly Drawing |
|
Ok, let's
have some fun!! We're going to hold a monthly drawing for a $50 gift
certificate to Deja Brew. You can use it towards brewing, wine
making or to buy beer, if that's what you'd like to do. Simply drop
off your business card to enter. Another great way to enter is
simply to send an email to ray@deja-brew.com
with comments and suggestions on how to improve our eBrewsletter
and/or web site, or submit a recipe using beer as an ingredient for
inclusion in our monthly mailing. We'll pick the winner on the 1st
of each month.

New Beers |
| Oh boy, we've got a lot of new recipes since the last update, and not all of them are posted on the website yet either. Dave has cranked out at least 6, I think I've done the same. Big Mike has created a Special Delivery Ale to commemorate the birth of his son. Nick is working on another Porter, and there are still more in the works! We've got about 175 in our database, and about 155 in the book, so you can see we're busy.

Ask the Beer Geek! |
|
This month's question asks how is a Helles Bock different from other bocks?
A: A Helles bock is simply a pale or straw colored version of a bock. Helles = Pale.
Send your
beer questions to ray@deja-brew.com . If your
question is picked for the eBrewsletter, you'll win a Deja Brew pint glass!
